Re: Bones 3.01 - The Widow's Son in the Windshield (Rewatch)

I truly thought we'd get to see something powerful developed for Zack this season. (Yes, I acknowledge that making Zack the apprentice is a powerful choice, but I mean that I hoped to get to see some good character development for him throughout the entire season -- I felt like he came home, and th...

Bones 3.01 - The Widow's Son in the Windshield (Rewatch)

Note: This thread will contain spoilers for all of Season 3 (3.01 -3.14). | | | | | V We might want to call this rewatch thread a 'saudade' thread. ( Saudade is a Portuguese term for yearning, or a deep longing for something just out of reach.) And I thought it might be interesting to begin a discu...

Re: Bones 3.14 The Pain in the Heart

Hey, Eileen... add my voice to the choir of the distressed. But as a member of the Church of Bones, Orthodox (a cookie for anybody who gets that reference, btw) I stopped attending regular viewings in the beginning of season 3. My old VCR has come in mighty handy, though -- I haven't misse...

Re: Spoiler Talk

Oh, but wait!!!! *wiggles* In the Barassa sides it looks like we'll be feeling the love for Angela and Jack once more...after all, Angela spurns Mr. Wonderful. Now if we could just stop Hodgins from calling her Angie ... and um... just a nagging question: if the writers are clever enough to call the...

Hey Tara and asc... Sorry I'm late welcoming you (hence my handle; late for everything, except matters of the heart)-- just wanted to pop on and say how glad I am that you're here!! And Tara... wow. It's so neat to have a RL chum of the Divine Ms. S2 among us! :D I'll have to corner you and get the ...

Re: Bones 3.14 The Pain in the Heart

TJ, no matter what discussions we have here in the forums, no matter how passionate our opinions get, the main truth will always be that we think you are an amazing talent and a terrific guy, and we are loyal to you as fans. That is absolute. Eloquent, as always. I need you to balance out my root c...

Re: Bones 3.14 The Pain in the Heart

Stop it already. Either go back to the exquisite colour, light, shade and translucent quality of S1, with properly studied characters (I can't believe Hart said we had finished exploring Zach!!!) and realistic, intelligent dialogue, or leave the whole thing alone and turn it into a springboard for ...

Re: Bones 3.14 The Pain in the Heart

The b@stards disconnected me. Another parallel to last night's episode. I'm with you in the heartbreak department, Sherry. Oddly, I'm more disgusted by the Booth in the bathtub/beer hat mishegas than Zach's departure. My expectations of this show are so low that I knew 43 minutes wasn't enough time ...

Re: Bones 3.14 The Pain in the Heart

How fitting that I'm reading these terrific posts while being on hold with the IRS. Not surprisingly, that sums up my experience watching last night's episode. Eric deserved a much better vehicle for his talent than the new and improved Bones , and I hope he'll get that now. TJ did a great job with ...

Re: Bones 3.12 The Wannabe in the Weeds

*breathes deeply* Let's just call this post Better Living Through Chemistry Okay, I've had another pot of Seattle's Best , but alas, there are no mood stabilizers to be found (other than browsing TJ's gallery photos). For me, this show was bad coffee weak. It's getting to the point where I need to a...

Re: Bones 3.12 The Wannabe in the Weeds

P.S. Until I started watching tonight, I didn't realize this was the 'Fat Pam' episode we'd previously discussed in one of the spoiler threads. I was mentally unprepared for that, so I may have some bristling comments about this show's repeated issue with weight. We'll see. It simply boggles my min...

Re: Spoilers and rumors

Hey Kimber, I hope we get at least an idea of what's in tonight's episode. Upon rewatching 'Verdict' over the weekend it struck me as really odd that Angela was waaaaaaaaaay over on one side of the steps with Brennan, and Jack came out with the rest of the crew and didn't make a move to go near her....

Re: All you wanted to know and haven't had a chance to ask

I can see this thread heading in a very dangerous direction, so I will simply nod, agree, and keep my thoughts to myself.

Well, except to say that when Dennis Haysbert asks 'are you in good hands?' the spark plugs fizzle and pop a little.

Re: All you wanted to know and haven't had a chance to ask

Since there's a third round of questions I'd like to know if TJ does any voice over work.

Because who doesn't have a huge voice kink? Okay, by kink, I mean who doesn't like the sound of a very well-toned string of consonants and vowels.

*nods gravely*

Re: Will this site ever be updated?

Just call me Pollyanna, but I see TJ not updating My Space as a good thing ... I imagine he's insanely busy and generally very slippery to get hold of. Um. Did that sound racy? *coughs* I join Rebecca in her praise! You guys are fantastic! As far as site updates go, to me the bottom line is that as ...

Re: Spoilers and rumors

The effect of the writer's strike is just wreaking havoc with everything. I saw an interview with Eric Millegan last week where he talked to Ausiello about the shifting around of episodes, and I'm guessing that the Jack/Angela split would have been played out more effectively if they hadn't had to c...
