Thanks, but I just finished my not-so-virtual apple-maple pie, I don't think I can eat anything else...

I've never been there. I'd be afraid it'd be a bit of an overload for me. lol

You mean for the gambling opportunity, or simply the overwhelming diversity in the scenery?

:-)

I think it's a nice place for a weekend, but more than that, if you limit yourself to the Strip, it gets old very quickly...

The people, the lights, the noise, just the sheer insanity of the place. I'm not really a big gambler, anyway, so it's probably not the best destination for me.

When I went there, it really wasn't for the gambling - I think I gambled a total of $20, and surprisingly I didn't win anything...

But it's worth just watching the excessive craziness in a whole, plus all the shows - I've got a soft spot for the Cirque du Soleil, but it's natural, I'm from Quebec :-)

Is there still anyone around, or should I just start cleaning already before heading to bed?

Sorry, Kat. I'm still around, but I was busy arguing with someone over on the BY.

Of course, since it seems to be winding down here, I don't think they'll mind if we start straightening up a bit.

I can't believe how many empty glasses have been left on tables, desks and shelves... Good thing someone decided to use real glassware, that would be such a waste for the environment! But that also means that we have to wash them... Is there a dishwasher in the kitchen?

Jade, was it a fun discussion?

Not really a discussion, yet. It was more me pointing out that they're wrong. :D I'll have to see if they reply.

There definitely better be a dishwasher because there're too many cups & plates to wash by hand. :P

I just want to know who threw the confetti all over the place. Goodness! Where's the vacuum?

No prob. I did mention that he was with 3 women within the course of a year, which of course, includes those two, but I suppose I could have stressed his promiscuity in that particular episode more. *shrug* I'm fine with what I wrote, though.

Anywho.... back to the party. :P Should we just leave the balloons up until they deflate? What about the streamers?

I haven't found the vacuum cleaner, but I did find a broom... However, I'm not sure if it's going to be very useful on the carpet :(

Wait, there are still some balloons left, maybe we could brush them on our hair, to charge them with static, and try to catch the confettis this way! Do you think it'd work?

Finishing up some yummy spinach and mushroom Alfredo and garlic bread--lots of leftovers, help yourself! And here are some strawberries for dessert! Whipped cream too, yum.

Sorry! It was me who threw the confetti everywhere, just having too much fun. Here-borrow my new vacuum.

Off to get a few more reports for work in before I pass out. Take care everyone!

*On Las Vegas...it is so much fun. Everyone should go at least once. If I ever get married again I'd love to have the wedding there and fly my whole family out to party for the weekend. Don't worry about the gambling--I spent exactly $50 in the casinos and spent the rest on shows and, um, beverages. I stayed at the Flamingo and spent a lot of time lying around their awesome pool. I also got my tattoo there  (sober at the time) Must visit Freemont street at night if you go.
