Spurts, most definitely. That way he's popping in to chat with us more frequently, and that keeps the site exciting as we wonder each time we log on if we're going to get a delicious TJ tidbit!

Spurts it is for me, too! I like it when he tells us, where he is and what music he is listening to.

OK, you get the spurts!
NEXT LOST QUESTION
because they do get lost in the enthusiasm of those big threads and newcomers wouldn't know they were there.
We want to put favourite quotes from TJ on the main site pages.

So...and keep it short, just the quote(s):
Which are your favourites?
Don't worry if you have already entered them in another site thread, they will be easier to pick up from here. It'll take more thought than the previous question, I feel, though!

Are you talking about quotes from TJ, or from his character, Hodgins?

Rebecca, I think either one is fine. Once we find a way to incorporate them into the pages, we can always specify whether its a Jack or a TJ quote. :D

Back to the "lost question"! :) I have some quotes:

Hodgins: We've been dancing around this for month now. Like 2 pieces of neodymium cought in a magnetic field.
Angela: Is that good?
- Season 2 "The Girl With The Curl"

Hodgins: Why does everything have to be so damn hard? - Supposed to be in season 2 - Episode "Player Under Pressure" original version! It is not in the aired version in season 3! I like this quote, because I ask myself the same question sometimes.

Hodgins: You don't want my answers? Don't ask me the questions!
- Season 3/Episode 1 "The Widow's son..."

Another request for you all, please do respond, as I need to get back to Ben quickly on this.

He has found a way to add new fields to our profiles. I asked him a while ago whether there were ways of personalising the profiles a bit and making them more individual and interesting. I suspect we can't do a lot to them visually (I will ask about skins and layout possibilities though), but we can add to them. If you were going to add something to your little profile here, what would you like people to see? What would you like to know about other members?

You heard it here. Get back to me!

Awwww, TJ Bear! So fun, Steph, to see one of my little bear's brothers (or sisters). I still marvel at the wonderful handiwork of my TJ bear everyday, and remember our visit together in Liverpool!

It is a bit harder than other things I've asked for, it's just an opportunity I would like to make the most of. I would like, for instance, a section where I could list my likes and dislikes, to give people an idea about my personality. It would also be nice if people could keep little personal galleries here, like on a MySpace or FaceBook page.

Or favourite music, or what book you read right now! That would be interesting, too!

Coming off of what TJ4ever said, maybe we could have a section where we talk about anything and everything other than bones or TJ. News, music, tv etc etc....

Do we have something like this?

If we do, I have lost it.

I have a suspicion you are talking about board forums/threads, Jo, which is not what we meant.

If you want to talk about anything-but-TJ you can curl up on the Offtopic Sofa thread (usually for personal stuff) or pop over to the Random thread for discussion about just anything.

Simone and I meant something to make our profiles more interesting for others to read. The profile is what is shown about you in your User Control Panel. At the moment it gives you the possibility of selecting an avatar and signature, giving your name, area, employment, interests, plus any IM, email or website you may want on display and that's about it. We thought a field for preferences might interest others too.

But the main problem is that the profiles don't look attractive; people tend not to read a lot of little black boxes. That's something I don't know if we can change. :(
