Bones 11.01 The Loyalty in the Lie

Post by skftex »

As I promised Steph, I'm going to post for this episode and the one that aired last night. I originally thought I'd do them together since it was a two part story but they had different names so I'll do them one for each.

I liked this episode a lot. I had no idea what was up with Booth, and I loved the way they did it, he walks out the door and then they find a body in a van and there are indications that it could be Booth. So Brennan comes back to the Jeffersonian and figures out it isn't. I did feel sorry for Arastoo in this one because he was going by x-rays and things matched up, PLUS Angela's drawing based on the skull looked like Booth. So why Brennan was so hard on him I don't know.

Hodgins shows up quite a bit in scenes in this one, which is always a good thing, but the best one was when he walked in on Cam and Arastoo and thought Arastoo had proposed and Cam said he hadn't yet, and Hodgins ducks his head and turns and walks out of the room so fast. It was a cute scene and TJ did a good job (of course) with the way he ducked his head-it was like a puppy who had done something wrong. HAHA So cute.

Agent Miller I could have done without, but then I think I just don't care for the actress that much so she annoyed me. When they find out that Booth and his brother had been in the house of the drug dealer, all these guys jump out of vans and things in full gear, assault rifles, helmets, vests. And Agent Miller and Aubrey-they have no helmets. I hate it when they do that! I know it is a TV show and you have to be able to see the actors but couldn't they at least find a helmet for them where they can still see their faces? LOL Maybe it would mess up their hair. I don't know.

So, by the end we know that the body was Jared Booth, and Booth is out there and has been shot. Then we see him in the basement with the friend of Jared's and all this money. Of course I knew he wasn't actually doing something illegal so I thought he was doing something to try to protect his brother. But the way the show was put together I never really was sure what was going on and I liked that, it kept it very suspenseful and held me there trying to figure out what was going on. That changed in episode 2 but I'll write about that in the other thread.

I hope some other people will comment. There are probably things I forgot about.
