I was annoyed with the country lock thing too.. always have been actually.. but I got sick of it yesterday and sought out an answer to our problem...

The answer: HotSpot Shield.

It is actually for securing your connection to stop hackers, people getting at your personal details etc... but the most important thing for us that it does is that it hides your IP address and effectively tricks the web into thinking that you are in the US..

Im on a mac.. and it worked well. was able to watch things on fox.com and a cwtv.com . I havent tried it at hulu or anywhere else yet.

It is a freeware software so just google, download and enjoy!

oh yeah. I should have written that in the first place.
It does slow things down a bit.. and puts this weird box on the top of each page.. so I only turn it on when I am blocked out of something.

But yay! Im glad it works.. a few people have said it doesnt work.. but it really does work great for me.
