Yay Kimber! Steph deserves credit too, for posting on every thread to get the spam down at the bottom. I suppose if we all take turns doing that it will work--for awhile.

I was actually on while he was doing it, it was so bizarre - every time I replied or refreshed, another spam had vanished! Like watching Samantha twitching her nose on 'Bewitched', omg how old am I....

Dear Mr. Admin,

Thanks for removing the spam this morning--talk about getting caught in a pornado! I've been waiting a long time to have the chance to use that word...

HA! I love that word. I can't wait to use it here at work sometime. We're always coming up with dirty words. That's a marketer for you!

Tee hee .. yes, I love that word too. Pornado. Ah. Sadly, I have been caught in one of those before, and they're scary! The first (and pretty much only) time it happened I was still living at home, and typed in the wrong address. I enjoyed a music group called "Farmer's Daughter", and not thinking, I typed in farmersdaughter.com. Well, that was wrong, of course, and I got a total eyefull before I realized what I had done. *shudder*.

And yes, a big THANK YOU to Mr./Mrs. Admin. (And shout out to Steph, who was also helping to move those pesky spams to the bottom of the page!).

Well, the email is 'Ben', isn't it?
Have you heard any more about what this baby admin title will entail, Ms Super B Pink with attractive matching diaper?

Oopsie. My mom wanted to check out something at Dick's Sporting Goods once and got more than the price of a fishing rod. And one time I went looking for Rennaisance Faire clothing and jewelry, and found jewelry of a different sort. I didn't know men wore things like that. Looked painful.

Diapers? LOL--I'm not that old... :o

And yes, it is Ben, or Mighty Administrator, as he should be called considering the spam seems to have disappeared (knock on wood). So, no superpowers for me at this time, but perhaps we're safe from evil--for now.

Aww. So I'm not the only one to get caught in a Pornado, then, eh? Well, I suppose that's good. And yeah, I think men do wear some fun jewelery. Women, too. But I think it would hurt on either ... ;) (Not that I know personally, of course. Just the ears done, and one tat for me!).

Also, thanks for confirming for us, Rebecca. We've got a Mr. Admin. Ben. I like it. THANKS, BEN! :)

Three, eh? That's cool. I heard that when you get one, you want more and more! However, I've just had the one now for about 2 years. I've got my astrological glyph on my ankle, which sounds totally white trash. But it's not, I swear! I designed the symbol the way I wanted it, too, so it's pretty small and modest. I also had been drawing it on myself since the age of 14, so I knew it was something I wanted. I even researched the glyph and its meaning (which is "creativity from within"), and I thought that was completely fitting for me.

I have plans for a second one, but it's larger and I want it to incorporate my animals, so I'll have to find a good artist to actually draw it for me. It's times like this I wish I could fly to LA or Miami, and get the lovely folk from Miami/LA Ink to design it for me!

What are you tattoos of, and where are they?

Kimber, that's awesome, it sounds beautiful and understated, not trashy at all. Don't suppose you can show us the glyph somehow?

I think I've figured a way to post pics here, so ... here goes...

Image

This is not my tattoo, but this is what it looks like (minus the writing, of course). Mine is outlined in black, and is orange and yellow (I'm a fire sign) on the inside. It is pretty small, though. I have some photos of it on my computer, but since they're saved on a CD, and my drive isn't working, that doesn't do me much good! That is my symbol, though, and I believe it's supposed to be the lion's tail. However, upon further research, I discovered the bit about it meaning "creativity from within", because the closed part on the bottom is said to symbolize the sun, as well.

Regardless, I love my birth month, and although I actually don't often read my horoscope, I do love being a lion! I figured that with it being small, too, someday if I desired, I could always add to what I've got. I found a gorgeous picture just before I got the tat, of a larger design that incorporated the symbol into a portrait of a lion. It was really beautiful, but too big for my first tattoo.

Your tattoo sounds lovely! I'm a Pisces, and I've always loved the ideas behind that too. Love the wild winds of March teetering on the threshold of Spring and the feeling of freshness and movement. I, of course, am a water sign, and I have those two fishes swimming in opposite directions. I'm meant to be creative, dreamy and empathic. I guess that can have its darker side of passivity/lethargy, over-emotionalism and obsessiveness (I get intense far too early in friendships)! I have a tendency to 'go with the flow', which can be a good or a bad thing, and I drift into things if I'm not careful because I'm not a good decision maker. But apparently teaching is a good choice for me, as was languages as a subject, as is my involvement in music and drama, because above all I am a communicator.

I don't know whether any of this resembles TJ, but my birthday is the day before his - there's my claim to fame! :D

Note to self...stop posting offtopic here and encouraging everyone else to do likewise!

Where's the hit-someone-on-the-head emoticon?

Btw you need special 'powers' to actually delete spam, but you can move it to the bottom of the page by posting on all the other threads to push it down out of sight.

- which reminds me, matter of interest, why is it that when I am on here, it seems to be very random whether my name appears on the 'users browsing' list or not? I'd like friends to know when I'm around on this board.

Yah! To the spam disappearing. I'm glad, because it was just unsightly to see that cluttering up our lovely little forum here. :)
