You know, I was just thinking that offtopic stuff should go back over to the "sofa time" thread...

I actually had never really noticed that "users browsing" list before today, and I see that I am on here. I guess it is working, but that's a bummer that it's not registering you on here. It is kind of nice to know when others are around, so you can actually engage in a conversation-of-sorts with them.

Well, the site is working pretty well here on the whole, but seeing as there are sometimes 2 or 3 people on, I was wondering, once it has settled down, if it would be possible to have a chat facility. I know the time differences are a pain and have to be allowed for, but I still find that I am frequently on here with at least one other friendly individual. Victoria and I can be on for ages posting back and forth to each other!!

Re: the offtopic stuff, I don't think parts of threads can be transferred to other threads even by a mod or an admin (though it is possible to do links between threads, a messy business when you are trying to find your way around). We can't help it if we get interested in other things along the way, we're making new friends! What we should probably do is to try and make at least one topic-related reference per post and discipline ourselves to go over to the sofa if we want to say something really off at a tangent.

re: offtopic stuff, I wasn't meaning to literally move the posts over there! LOL. I meant that if we wished to continue the tattoo discussion (and I know Weez said she had 3), we should maybe continue that discussion over on the Sofa thread. I also doubt that there is a way for us measly Fans and Super Fans to move whole posts over. Even our Baby Admin might not have that power.

A chat! I like that idea. I was wondering that myself, if perhaps a chat box type program might be able to be put up here, and that way we could pre-arrange a time (as with our Saturday Reviews on the tv.com forum) and all come on to chat "live" about TJ. Mr. Ben, the Administrator? Is this a possibility??

Sorry! Didn't mean to go off topic, I'm still somewhat new at the message board stuff. I'll move my tattoo discussion over to the sofa...

I think we all got off topic, Weez! But it's no worry. We have our sofa thread (which I've just come from) to discuss whatever we wish on :)

I notified Ben about the new spam, so hopefully naked Lindsay Lohan will be gone by Monday.

Oooh, you got to use the word pornado! Well, it's all gone now. Thanks Ben--must be working on the weekends, eh? Sounds like my life right about now, although I will be off to check out a new Irish pub up in Carlsbad this afternoon. I need a couple of Guinness to fortify me for tomorrow :D

Are you back at school now, Rebecca? Are your kids back, too? For our students (and teachers), they go back after the long weekend, on Tuesday. Though, my boss' daughter goes back on the Thursday, just for two days. In my day, we always went back to school *before* the long weekend, during the last week in August. And we'd be in school until the middle/end of June, too.

I feel so old when I talk like that, and use terms like "in my day"... ;)

The kids started last Wednesday, so I've had them going on a week now. Overwhelmed a bit, as I changed grade levels this year and have a whole new learning curve to climb. Hey, but watching that "Bones" promo got me excited for the new season!

Bones promo!!! Have you seen the second one, with more TJ and Michaela goodness? Oh my. I wish we could see a "filming of" feature for this, as the clips of our two favourite folks were pretty short! What exactly was Michaela doing so close to his face in that second flash? Hmm?

I've pm-ed Ben suggesting the break-up of the site into several different forums  to make it easier to navigate. Crossing fingers here.

Any word?

I'd love to see a Bones forum set up within the main TJ Thyne Forum Index, so we could start discussing episodes within it, starting with tonight's premiere. :D

I've got comments, as I'm sure you all do.

Did you see there are new groupings set up now? Click on TJ Thyne Forum Index, instead of immediately going to Talk TJ, and you'll see there are now separate header categories:

Bones - Discussion of TJ's most popular venture to date!

Welcome - New arrivals, including the hello threads and the sofa.

Talk TJ - General TJ stuff

Other Work - Discussion about anything and everything that isn't Bones.

Anticipation

Media - Sightings, articles, media, pictures.

I've just posted a link to a brief TJ, Tamara, and Michaela interview on the Media thread. Check it out! :D
